My First Public Edition
For the first time, you can purchase a limited-edition piece of my art. It comes with a serial number and a certificate of authenticity.
Good taste isn't just a matter of budget.
Anyone with enough money can buy a Rolex, a Porsche, or expensive designer furniture. But money alone doesn’t make for good taste. Art is more personal. It shows what inspires you, what you stand for, and which artists you consciously support. With this edition, you’re not just hanging a poster on your wall—you’re acquiring a limited-edition piece straight from my studio, with documented provenance and a story behind it. You don’t have to spend a fortune to own art with character.
THE CHOSEN LENS
The work that started it all in 2026.
An artist is using a paintbrush to paint a portrait of a woman with golden skin and blue eyes against a blue background.
Painted in Paris
"The Chosen Lens" was the first painting I created in 2026. I painted it in Paris over the course of three weeks, and it marks a decisive step in my artistic development.
New Concept and New Technology
For the first time, I worked with a model, developed my own photographic concepts, and brought them to life in a painterly style. This process laid a new technical and artistic foundation that shaped my entire body of work in 2026.
A milestone in my artistic career.
The original has already been exhibited in Munich and Graz and is currently in my studio. For me, this work is much more than just a single painting. It marked the beginning of a new chapter in my artistic career.

What makes a limited edition special?
An edition is a strictly limited number of high-quality art prints of a work of art. Unlike ordinary posters, it is produced in only a predetermined number of copies. Each copy is individually numbered.
Why is this interesting?
The more famous an artist becomes, the more sought-after his or her earlier editions may become. The key factors are demand, the significance of the subject matter, and limited availability.
£40 turned into £12,900.
In 2002, Banksy released his first print edition, *Rude Copper*, with a print run of 250 copies, originally priced at around £40.
In June 2026, one copy sold at auction for £12,900—more than 320 times its original issue price. This is an exceptional example and, unfortunately, no guarantee of future appreciation. But I’ll do my best, of course.
Why Early Editions Are Especially Interesting
Early editions document a specific phase in an artist's career. If the artist continues to develop successfully, these very first publications can become particularly sought-after by collectors.
What's available today for €69 will be hard to find in a few months.
As an artist’s profile and demand grow, even their early works gain value. Of course, there’s no guarantee of that. But anyone who knows me knows that I live for my art and do everything I can to further my career as an artist on the international stage.
Art That Benefits Everyone
Limited editions allow me to offer my art at an affordable price without diminishing the value and exclusivity of my original paintings. On the contrary: Every purchase supports my artistic development, raises awareness of my work, and enables me to take on even larger projects. In the long run, this also benefits my existing collectors.

The Artist - Daniel Maier
I am interested in people. Their quest for meaning, their desire for recognition, their longing for immortality, their contradictions, and the stories they tell about themselves. Before I devoted myself entirely to art, this thirst for knowledge led me to medicine. Today, I explore the same fundamental questions, but on the canvas. My works oscillate between precision and a loss of control, between hyperrealistic painting and expressive freedom. Each piece is created with the aim of producing something unique that goes beyond mere aesthetics. My goal is clear: to create art that endures. And to make my mark internationally through my work.

What I Do Differently
01
The most popular motif of the year.
"The Chosen Lens" was the artwork I was asked about most often in 2026. That's why I chose this very image for my first official edition.
In the past, I, too, offered prints of various works. Today, I make a conscious decision about which of my paintings will be released as prints. These are not just any reproductions, but selected works that hold special significance for my artistic development.

02
One design. One edition. No second chances.
While successful designs often reappear in new editions, colors, or formats, I deliberately take a different approach: 250 copies worldwide. No reprints. No new editions. No exceptions. I personally sign the first 150 copies. However, all 250 are individually numbered, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, and permanently documented. For me, exclusivity means not making everything available as often as I like. It also means saying “no” sometimes, even when there is demand.

Discover today what will be history tomorrow.
The most exciting collections often emerge before an artist achieves their greatest success. I work every day to further develop my art on an international level, set new standards, and leave a lasting mark on the art world. That’s why my editions will remain intentionally rare in the future. My focus is on unique originals and a few, carefully selected publications. No one can guarantee how their market value will develop. But what I can guarantee is this: This edition will not be reprinted. Anyone who owns one of the 250 copies will possess a piece of my first officially documented edition history. Secure your copy now for €69 before this edition is finally sold out.
